Use a bigger pot. For a plant that size I would have it in a 5 gallon grow bag.

If I were you and I'm just saying, I would practice trianing the top of that thing by tieing it down a little everyday at the top just bend it a little with out breaking it to stop it from shooting up then I would let it bush out. This is coming from the 9ft lady guy. I didnt tie my down and it shot up like a damn rocket. ckeck out my sign you'll understand. if you do decide to tie down method. you tube it and google it as much as possible before attempting, you wouldnt want to mess the plant up.
