Is this plant ready for a topping?

So in case anyone cares to see how my baby's doing I'm going to post an update pic. Can someone also tell me if this 2nd picture is a preflower sign? The plant is defiantly over a month old.

My LST only vs only being topped . How do my babies look? I plan on starting lst on my topped plant tommorow, attempting to mainline it with 4 main shoots. To me it seems the LST plant is heavy sativa dominant while the topped plant is an indica dominant. Correct or nah?
