Is this plant a hermie? (image heavy)

Hey guys.

This is my first grow and I thought my plant was female. But today Ive noticed a few things that look like pollen sacks. It seems to have both pistils and pollen sacks.

i was hoping someone could tell me wether this is a hermie. Heres a few pics, sorry about the quality of some of them, my camera sucks.

thats definetly ball sacks but you dont need to chuck it . read this link , ive saved at least half a dozen with this stuff.

the info contained is very detaled, abit too much at times but i can virtually garauntee that Dutch Master Reverse will fix it, i wouldnt grow without it. the two liquid cost around £30(U.K) so ahm gussin maybe $50(U.S), well worth it .alternatively plant it in a local cops garden and make an anonymous call.

The best way to tell for yourself if a plant is hermi is to look for little sacks. Only male plants produce pollen sacks, but when a plant is stressed it can be both male and female - it will produce pistols and sacks on the same plant usually on the same nodes.

However, when late into the flowering phase - if you stress your plants too much or you have a light leak in your box, your fully budded about to harvest plants will grow "bannanna sacks" they look similar to little banannas. It is said that if you harvest these bannana sacks and pollinate the SAME STRAIN that the pollen came from - you will get fem seeds.

I dont really know. I just had a lil mini plant that I rescued from outside before first frost turn hermi on me. I am thinking it is because I dug it up, f'd the roots up and then threw it under indoor lighting in epicly different temps/lumen output.

what a downer , but man the strongest weed i ever grew was hermie weed but it is a downer as it will put its energy to seed production, but like a sed it can b strong shit ! i wud pulling them bananas off i think thats what peeps do as there gonna be full of pollen so maybe the more u remove the less seeds ur gonna get ! av u had any stressfull scenarios ? that u cud say well it must of been coz of this or that ? coz stress is good but to much results in herm!! i wud flower on coz u look like ur a few weeks into flower now so u may aswell. good look man !

iv smoked some hermi bud before that was better then the swag shit they had on the street

It might not be the best but its something to smoke on while your waiting on your other plants to finish if you have any

Na dude get rid of that garbage. U dont want a hermi in ur grow room or anywhere near ur house it WILL pollinate every single plant u have.

This poster is telling you that u can jus keep picking them off - but good luck with that if u decide to waste ur time. Not only will picking the sacks cause MORE TO GROW but itll also stress your plant and buds will take twice as long to grow. Its not worth it. I dont care how careful you are, just get rid of it and start over its not worth having the rest of ur plants seeded and all fucked up.

This is my only plant. I grew this from a bag seed just using light and water and a bit of left over plant food (i was too broke to afford a proper set up). I kind of started growing it just to see if i could, im suprised it actually got this far. It got pretty sick a few weeks ago, i think it was cal/mag deficiency. Maybe the stress of that hermied it? i dunno

If i pull it now will the flowering bits be smokeable or will they not have much THC in em because its so early in the flowering?

your only plant? Keep growing, keep an eye on nanners, pluvk em everyday, multiple times a day, and harvest some decent buds.

Im not telling him to keep it around other plants i know it will pollinate other plants im not stupid

Im just saying if that is the only one he has then just pick em of , yes more will grow , but he can still pick them off , its not wasting his time if that is the only plant he has

Now if he has other plants then yea i would just chunk it , but if not , some smoke is better then no smoke

Hermi smoke is not potent but you still get a buzz from it and if that is the only one he has then why not ?

yeah just pluck off the sacks...doesn't look like alot of it has hermi'ed just a few nodes...so pluck away and remove them from the area...don't leave them hanging around *giggle*

Looks like a he-she to me. I feel for you bro. One things for sure, you won't need to waste money on seeds.

IT IS ONLY BAD NEWS IF YOU DON'T REMOVE THE POLLEN SACK!

NO NEED TO KILL THE WHOLE PLANT! It only is bad if you let the pollen drop, then your crop is ruined by seeds! If it's just one plant, just cut the pollen sacks off, and keep an eye out for anymore that may show up.

It won't focus on seed production if there are no seeds because the pollen never opened up.
