so i have these lil babies in super closet...

Temps are about 80-85
Humidity about 30-40
Thrive and sugar daddy and water - 90ppm
Kind led light about 20” away from tops...

Top feed off... roots are now growing in dwc

I just recently transferred them and looks like they might have been overwatered in beginning... places fan over the babies and looks like rock wool dried out...

I am seeing new growth... picture 1 is 3 days ago and 2nd picture today...

Any suggestions...

What’s your water temp, ph, ppm/ec, what are you feeding them what size air pump you using etc. we need some details. You have any air movement in there to dry those rock wool cubes out?

I never took water temp or ec.... ph about 5.5-6, 90 ppm , r/o water with some super thrive and sugar daddy... hydroponics system from supercloset... i have a side mounted fan and blowing air on them earlier but know turned towards the side wall... it’s dwc system with top feed... not using top feed at moment and only using 2 air stones in the dwc... roots are thru the net pots and hanging in water (they are white).I don’t think underfed bc roots are in water all the time so they getting fed.

And when i said i haven’t watered in 3 days was referring to top feeding them... their roots are hanging in oxygenated water.. initially when transferred over the water level in dwc was half way up the net pots and then this happened so i reduced it to just below the net pots... so i am thinking that being that high was soaking the rock wool and suffocating them.

Your not feeding them anything. Sugar daddy is 0-0-0 and super thrive is vitamin b. It’s 90 ppm there’s nothing there for them to eat. How big is the air pump as in how much lpm of air does it produce?

Also top feeding ant necessary in dwc and you should check the water temp it’s important. Doesn’t your ph pen measure temp too?

Oh wow.... i am using bc products... i will feed some today... what u think ideal ppl should be?

I will also take a water temp today... what should water temp be? i will also will provide type of pump inside dwc for air pump....

I don’t know why this system has a top feed... maybe to drain the water... it’s the system that comes with supercloset set up...

Should my ppl be around 200-300 with nutes

200-300 is a good start for little plants. I rarely go over 1000ppm the entire grow. Water temp should stay anywhere 64-70 degrees. I’ve built all my systems. Air pump depends on the size of buckets but I shoot for a min of 10lpm per site. My pumps are 70 lpm and 110lpm depending how many plants I use.

Your only using sugar daddy though there’s really nothing to that stuff. Like Blake said check out mega crop I’ve switched to it and it’s awesome. Also not expense like most nutrient companies out there

They only been in dwc for about week, i was readin that it was too soon to start giving them nutes... but the roots are in the water... so maybe it’s time of the nutes... they want food

For that 150 you spent you could have gotten 60 lbs of megacrop and wouldn’t have to buy any nutrients again for a few years lol.
