Is this normal?

I have had 3 plants for about a month now.
The first set of leafs is dieing but the new sets look fresh.
Is this normal?
Whats the next step?

yeah dude totally normal those die off. Its looking great keep it up.

looks like over or under watering.
did they turn yellow before they went brown? if so id say overwatering.
if they didnt turn yellow and just dried out you may have let the soil stay dry a tad too long. if this is the case just be careful not to water too much more often or you will over water, its a very thin line with soil ive found, in terms of getting the watering down pat.

they will be fine though, just expermiment a little with the watering schedule. like the above poster said those leaves will end up falling off on their own anyways eventually.

Yall are trippin.lol There is something wrong with the nutrient supply in that soil. You need to feed with a low dose of nutes untill it turns green. id start with 1/8 strength. let me know how it works out
