If it's mold, it generally has a funky smell.
When it doubt, throw it out, mold is not to be fucked with.

Like I said decent, meaning good quality USB microscope is what I use.
As for smell that's a given, mold smell tells alot, as does was this just cut down, or was it "cured" in that plastic bag without efforts to replace air to prevent mold which again was it hung, how long, what temp-humidity, would you like me to explain more to you?
I assume only what i see, not what I think it might be which is likely mold if OP is questioning it, so I refrained from acting like a ass when I didn't know the answer but thankfully the mold remediation

ohhh tuff call is it soft with a not so weed like smell
