I have conceded that I was wrong...I'm just trying to help the guy out. Didn't mean to offend.

this reminds me of a thread last week or something where some poor guy was freaking out because his plant had these and he never saw it before and he thought it had a disease. i didn't have any photos so i snapped the best one i could from my veg cab to show that it's normal. the knobby things get nice and solid and act as support for the branches.

this is the pic. there isn't really any evidence from the pic but this plant turned out to be 100% female.
