is this kind of light any good?

I have a 120 watt Sylvania Spot-gro its like coated in blue is this light suitable for growing? I asked the guy in the hardware store and he recommended this one. Any of you guys ever use this kind of light before? I have an outdoor grow going on right now but Im gonna move my plants indoor. any help is greatly appreciated

depending on how long they've been outside you won't be able to move them indoors cuz they're used to the sunlight...

that's an incandescent bulb which has a chemical added to the inside of the bulb which casts more of a blue-ish hue. incandescent bulbs are the most inefficient types of bulbs for growing because most of the energy they consume is turned into heat, not light. ditch that bulb and get you some cfl's. a lot of them, especially since you're going from outside to inside.
