Is this going to seed or just over nuted calyxes

I'm at day 46 of flower on my blue dream. I've grown this strain before but decided to try a new nute line at 1/4 strength and had nothing but problems with pH issues and excessive nitrogen.

I was looking through my plants today and noticed some weird looking balls on the buds that I usually don't notice on this strain. I'm not sure what they are as I've had hermied plants before and seeded buds but only caught it after they've done significant damage or had lots of seeds. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached a picture of one of the lower branches.

There's no nutes I'm aware of which have too much N at 1/4 strength; your problem lies elsewhere

Sure looks like balls in the pic but it's pretty blurry

Reckon I just pull my entire tent then? I have other ladies in there that don't have that growth and the tops of the blue dream look fine and fluffy but the lower shaded bits are growing like that

Just took the scrog net out and inspected every plant couldn't find a single banana or pollen sack. It seems like its only happening to the really lower nugs that get no light. It almost looks like its calyxes that wont form due to very little light

I checked PPMs and all was good before and after feeding. It was a solid mix fertiliser that you add to water and had been sitting out side for a while which obviously was stupid. I have 8 girls going and the 2 I fed with it had really bad issues and once stopping it they started to fix. Ph was always in range for soil in run off and before feeding. Had this happen to a grow a while ago when I used the same nutrients so ill just never use it again just ran out of my old stuff and decided to be cheap rather then just getting more of the line I was running.

I went through and didn't find anything alarming other then what looked like it could be seeds starting but no shriveled hairs or anything remotely looking like a pollen sack so really got no idea. Picked most of them off but left 2 visible ones so I can monitor it to see if they do start growing into seeds and will judge whether I pull it early or not

And if it has seeds is this a disaster? I’m sitting here smoking Banana Punch. Had hell breaking the buds up to get seeds out. Pollinated on purpose with an IBL Durban. Kicking ass! Seeds are not the end of the world unless you’re selling.

They are very very small and soft. I tried opening them to find a seed and were too small. Just worried about it seeding the rest of the plants as I have 8 going. If it turns out to be seeds ill just chop the plant and finish the rest. Using the blue dream for edibles or if im really desperate ill just smoke that too

they look more like male anatomy then pollinated calyx. Its usually the lower branches that pop herm in my experience.

A pollinated calyx during flower will still have trichomes on it, and chances are it will still have some of the stigma viewable from the exterior...example from the last AK. Found five seeds.

Yeah its weird as man im gonna monitor it the next few days and then just pull if it starts looking bad. Ive got 9 girls in the veg ready to replace these for the next grow so not too worried but always annoying when you get a hermie from stressing your plants

for sure. Mine popped a few sacs during a week where it hit 103f ambient and 110f in the tent for a few days and my AC was out. Luckily i was in late flower so it wasnt much of an issue, and it was a lone plant.

Looks like balls to me, if you’ve got a bunch of other stuff in there I’d cull it gently with all the fans off then hope for the best.

Took some more closeups. Sorry about the quality my old phone broke a month ago and now I've got a $100 Chinese phone that takes horrendous pictures especially with close ups. I can take more but just thought I'd post more for a better verdict. I've taken all of the suspicious looking stems and left the top heads for now.

Sad to say that I went to check again today and found an open pollen sack I did my best to remove it from the grow by misting with water then removing it. But made the decision to take all of it down. Also found I had a multi board with a tiny red light on it that I put in about 2 weeks ago. I guess thats what happens when you rush and dont check things down. Should have checked for light leaks without having the tent doors open as it was barely visible with lights off and doors open.

Anyways did a trichome check and the 2 skunks, 1 dosidos cookies, 1 special queen all had 80% milky trichomes rest clear so not all is lost but a good reminder to be more careful next time.

Thanks everyone for your advice

Looks on par, starting to finished.
I wouldn’t worry about it.

Don’t go from his pollen to your girls before you change. Called cross contamination.
Good luck

A tiny red indicator light on a piece of equipment is not what caused it.
