Is this cutting ok?

Basically my friend told me his jack flash was large enough and i should get a cutting of him, its looking strange though, uneven growth im worried it may not be worth growing due to its form.

if its rooted it should be fine.

Yes but i removed so the growth could be seen clearly.

So it will even out? Its growing leaves oddly.

Shouldnt they grow 1 each side?

Don't worry about leaves. If you get roots to the leaves will follow. If you don't mess it up.

No theyll never even out. A seed produces leaves level with each other for like the first seven or so sets of leaves. Then they start to alternate with one higher than the other. When you take a cutting youll be getting alternating nodes because youll be taking it from a more mature part of the plant. The only way to get a cutting with even nodes is to take a large top from a seed sprouted plant and even then the plant will soon start to alternate naturally.

Nah bro its fine. Remember it was a branch, not a stalk. you dont really get even nodes with a branch especially after its been cut.

Thanks, shows how inexperienced i am, i have watched cannabis grow from seed many times and even cuttings i never noticed them not been even, maybe its because im extra vigilent with these been my plants and im paying closer attention.
