Is this bud or bunches of new leaves

Hi,

I finally have a couple of my first attempt plants starting to show true signs of early hairs but this one smaller one is making me doubt what it is doing.

When these first started, I thought for sure it was buds but now a few days later, it almost looks like a bunch of new leaves about to sprout.

Obviously with my first grow, this is the first bloom or whatever so I am not 100% sure on it.

Take a look at the pic and let me know what you think if you dont mind.

Thanks

Yep looks like balls, better get it away from your other plants if you have more.

All, thank you for the quick reply for sure. I pulled this one out of the room immediately after reading this but I h ad a question on it. I looks like they may have started opening a lilttle. Based on the pic, do you think it was far enough along that it has already pollinated the females in the room?

Also, if you guys don't mind, I would like to post a couple more pics from the others in the room that came from the same seed pack initially to see if these are also male. FYI on these, they were recently trimmed a little so the pics may actually be of new growth or the exact same balls as the other plant. I have pulled these out of the room until I can get the pics posted here for your opinion. Thanks for all the help

Hi, here are the other 4. Each plant labeled on the pics. The initial one and these guys literally got to this point in like 3 days. before..nothing but leaves. Backstory is that my bigger ones currently in 3 gallon pots showing really small hairs this week were ordered as feminized /auto-flowering. These others were like 5 free seeds that the seller threw in if you bought the feminized seeds. My dumbass thought they would also be feminized/auto..lesson learned.

Other than getting no bud at all, is there a decisive way to tell if the males pollinated my females?

Attached are the other 4 plants that came in the same free bag with the initial one earlier and from your description of the other one, I am guessing these are also all males. Let me know what you think and thoughts on the question above. Luv you guys and glad I actually asked the question initially because I never got this far into the grow process but somethign was just off in the way the first pic I shared looked. Thanks

Hi SM. After feedback here and comparing other pics of male vs female I have eliminated all be 2 plants. Attached are the only 2 left and pics labeled. Let me know what you think. Also, thoughts on my question wondering if there was a definitive way in determining whether my larger 2 feminized/auto were pollinated by he males?

I would personally toss the lot big clean down and restart don't underestimate the pollen from cannabis. I would hate to go 3months growing just to have shit seeded bud at the end.

Th bud may be shitty, but he could turn it into budder or ice hash..even with seeds it does have value

I agree with you 100% but for me I would rather start over and get a decent harvest with no stress of thinking about pollen. And mutant plants. It just seems a waste of time for me but that's just my personal preference .
