is this because of too much light foxtail

Hi guys

Can someone with experience please tell me if these plants are foxtailing. They are under 315 cmh 12 12. 18 inches from tops. 76 degrees at top flower. I dont want to screw this up lol. Never had plants so good. They are super skunk in promix potting. Plankton fert evey 2 weeks. The cmh is a 3100. Do i need to back off light. I have 8 inches that i could raise it.

they don't look light stressed, and 76 is a good temp. your leaf edges aren't curling, so RH is at least within reason....if they're foxtailing, it's probably a genetic thing, and not much you can do about it. i guess it couldn't hurt to raise the light a few inches, but i don't think it'll make much difference.

Very good. The plant was special. It is a winner. I got 2 clones from her so its genetics are preserved. Ther are 2 in the grow. In is a full foot shorter. Good plant but the bigger one is a champ. Foxtails smoke just as good as anything so i aint complaining. Lol thanks man. It is super skunk and there are some weird phenos and its bred to ratshit but great smoke every time. Thank you for the constructive input. Gonna enjoy watching this one finish. Wonder what other surprises are to come. Looks like a heavy yeilder. We will see.

Marphyl 1 teaspoon per gallon. 2 times a month.

This one?.

Has very low potasium (K) compared to tons of nitrogen (N) and very little phosphorous (P).

Odd ratio to flower marijuana. Although it is marketed for it.

The flowers look like they are loose set. Are the lower leaves showing deficiency?

Something does look off. And a hidden potassium deficiency will cause tall stretchy plants.

Are the lower leaves curled down or burnt on the tips or edges?

that is an odd ratio, but i don't think it's meant to be used regularly...at least i hope not. seems like a once or twice a month additive...that being said...i wouldn't use it..it'll throw off the ratio of the rest of my feeding...if i was going to add anything to the soil, i'd get a bag of alfalfa meal, and a bag of kelp meal, mix it half and half, and top dress a little of that into the soil once a week or so. all the same trace nutes, the alfalfa has natural triacontanol, and a much better nute ratio for weed

I would leach the pot with fresh water until the runoff was clearish and then pour in a light to medium dose of a complete fertilizer with an even ratio to re set the pot.

Or follow rogers advice above.

They look fine, it's probably genetic. Some strains throw out lots of foxtails like that and then stack density on top of them. More foxtails = putting on more weight!

I don't see heat stress at all. You are fine.

The buds are loose. I have flowerimg nutes 2 part sensi bloom. Shouls i give em a blast and cut the placton.

Yes that can work. If they yellow too soon maybe give a light dose of the plankton.

The sensi bloom is loaded with pk.
Next water sensi bloom. No plankton. Will do. I see what u mean. They need pk now. Not n. They are quite green and have no dead yellow or hashtip. So n is ok. No leaf curl. Tons of trics. Its my best run yet. Hrh helps me a lot. I loved a few grows to death till i got......less is more and get good genetics. He turned me onto grandaddy purple. Thanks michmed. Sometimes i dont see the forest for the weed. Lol

Fox tail is usually a genetic thing, heat or light intensity. If it's genetic your entire plant will do it, if it's heat you'll see other signs of stress and 76 is not hot. So since you are running a light equivalent to a 5-600W HID I would go with what Roger A. Shrubber suggested and raise the light. I'm running a 600W HPS and at 18 inches I get fox tail late in bloom, 22 inches works better for me. Look your entire plant over (can't tell from the pics) if it's doing this on the lower buds away from the light then it is genetic (which I think this is) and there is really nothing you can do but ride it out.
