smartpots and air pots isnt the same thing at all. however smartpots are also very nice, but they wont make it easier for you to transplant then from regular pots. Airpots are different since you can remove the cover and dont have to get the plant out of the pot since the airpot open right up. Also Airpots can hold a bigger rootmass per liter of soil than regular pots and smartpots.

Far as I know autos grow at the same speed as non-autos. I keep one auto growing at all times in my veg room. It's almost like free bud. The veg light is running 20/4 anyway, so any extra room gets an auto to grow out.
Try to find a way to boost your seedling up closer to the light source. Seedlings stretching for more light is why we see so many toothpick plants. Getting closer to the light will shorten inter-nodal distances (a good thing) and make for a bushier plant. In the mean time I would get a pipecleaner and make a support for your little guy before she falls over. At that young stage fall-overs are often fatal so protect your gal from gravity. BigSteve.
