how many gallons of medium do you have there??

you mentioned light and strain being biggest factors for yield, and yet mention nothing about container size.. that beast of a pot looks to be a good 40 gallons or so to me, that's why you're getting huge numbers imo... may as well be growing outdoors with a container that big...

not knocking the grow, it obviously kicks ass, just bringing up the size of the container being a huge reason you get those kind of numbers.. :)
i forgot to mention in this thread, but i think i mentioned it in every single thread posted in the last 3 months on this same grow. 27 gallon container, bcuzz medium

wait a second, i did say 27 gallon containers in my thread. lighting and strain is the biggest factors, you cant just put any strain in a 27 gallon container and think your gona get 10 plus zips on each, it doesnt work that way.

According to Ed Rosenthal, you will roughly get 1/3 of an ounce - 1 ounce out of ever square foot of canopy. It all depends on variety and how skilled the grower is

so 12x12 inches is a square foot. So from this point on you do the math :).
eh...i achieved that just with a 400 watter and i mean the zip not the third of.....low estimate imo if i had a thousand watts over that id of probably yielded way more...need to bump up my lighting it looks like..and thanks for confirming that i figured it was mostly amount of light getting these results!!!! looks awesome man!!

yah well no poo, but put a big yielder in a one gallon pot and tell me you get anywhere near the numbers you're getting..
if it's mostly strain, then why the need for 27 gallons of soil?/ just throw that sucker in a one gallon milk bottle and let genetics take over from there..

but yes, some strains won't yield well if you dug a 5 foot hole in the ground and filled it with w/e soil floats your boat, but it will surely out yield the same plant grown in only a half gallon of soil..

dude holy shit lol....what do you think gave you those results the amount of light??i know its a combo of things but just what is the biggest contributing factor?? also you only vegged 4 weeks?!?!! from seed? under what?
well, suppose she gets 36 ounces from those three plants, under 2000 watts.

that's 1008 grams per 2000 watts, that's a gram per watt ratio that even a no fuss grower like myself can manage.

ahh, uncle buck, i'm pretty stoned right now, but i still think 1008 / 2000 is closer to .5 gram a watt, lol.. :)

a buddy of mine is achieving same results in a 5 gallon container using grow cubes, feeds every 3 hours. his main stock is way bigger than mines are. So now your gonna ask, well why dont i do the same? im not a hydro type of guy. never was. Tryed a couple times and failed. container size will have to be compatible to the technique you are using. I cant tell a hydro guy to use a 27 gallon container with dirt in it. so my answer to him will be lighting and strain

i see what hes saying about amount of soil but to me goes without saying that you need a nice sized pot for a plant that big...a plant just wont grow to that size in a gallon pot imo....racer ub is just using stoner math..close ur eyes at .5g a watt take a fat rip and hope that by the time you open em your vision doubled and you have a g per watt :bigjoint: loljp

actually, when i first started out and didnt know too much i grew this same strain in a 5 gallon lowes bucket with miracle grow and they shot to the ceiling, which was 8 ft. let me see if i can find some pics in one of my thumb drives.

View attachment 2206030i took a sample. yea i couldnt wait lol. i took this pic with a canon than put it on the computer, than used my camera phone to take a pic of the computer screen, cuz the file from the canon was too large. in case u were wondering
I used a canon powershot300 hs to take my last pics and had no prob. So in 5min time you went from a wk to go, to a pic of dried and cured sample buds, which i say cured because you said it tastes great.
Look out Chris Angel, this dudes good. Thats a photo with canon set at 12mp.. No problems.

nice pic^^^ yeah , something is fishy about this story..not buying the 4 week veg story...never seen a plant get that big that quick in soil.

lmao funny chris angel comment.....no tho it was also stated that one plant was already harvested the others had a week to go :D ...plus from the looks this isnt bim's first rodeo those dryed nugs could of been from the last run

and it was also stated it was from clone so as i gotta agree 4 weeks 5 days is fast i wouldnt say its not possible...especially if the 2000 watts was used in veg as well
