is this a new technique?

I think it's great. Cool idea for a small hobbiest that likes soil and doesnt want to convert to hydro.

I only consider organic soil for outdoor production but I can't wait to do a fun little side by side comparison in my house just for goofs.

I am. Just to see what happens, although even if I like it I will still never run soil indoors for serious production. Wastes too much water.

I also like the idea of using this for mother plants as stated above.

more like exaggerates them :)

how come this technique isn't as well know as other techniques .... Like hempy ?

is it worth doing?
because, you either do hydro, or you do soil. why run air to 30-100 pots just to copy hydro, when you can just do hydro.

and, according to his theory on spidermites, why do hydro guys still get them, mainliner??

Exactly like that. It's not some new method or technology as they're trying to have you believe. I also like the arbitrary numbers he uses to create a wow factor.
Leading scientist say 95% of people believe something when its quantified by percentages, that's over 50% more people than those that don't!

I'd rather stick with my DWC bucket where I control the pH, nutrient levels and everything. Going half way here seems to cancel out most of the benefits of both sides.
