Pretty sure it's a male, about 99% sure. I'd keep it another day or two to be sure but as you can see in the second pic the pod is on a little stem of its own, that's what male balls have and female calyxes don't. It also doesn't have pistils which usually, albeit very small, are visible at that stage.

See that lil stem attached to a lil ball? That's a male, females only have a calyx no stem under it.

Just gotta try again, happens to the best of us.

Or keep him and collect his jizz for future projects :)
