Is this a male bud on my girl? Please look

Since I'm so new to all this and these girls are my first grow, I'm courious if this bud is a herm. I don't really know if I'm looking at balls, or if it's just the node that the bud leaves come out of. My camera is a lousy 3mp, these are the clearest and closest I could get.

I don't see any male flowers. Then again, the pics aren't very good. try to get a closer picture of the area in question. If you do not see yellow shoots that look like bananas and you don't see any yellow pollen, i wouldn't worry. the occasional male flower here and there is not going to ruin your entire crop.

yea better pics will help!! but from what i see i think you are confusing the female calyx's for male flowers they look fine to me.

why did you chop this plant ?? It looks like it had a way to go and plump up.

I didn't chop her up. That is a very small bud on the lower part of the plant that I took off to check out the trichs under my new, handy-dandy hand-held 100X power microscope. hehehe.

those might look like a single seed at bottom of your flower . Give it a squeeze and see if a seed pops out.

You might want to use pruning shears in the future. Breaking of a branch like you did there will stress the plant and welcome in disease and possible pests.
