Been on 12/12 for 16 days. I think this may be a hermie, but I have no idea. Is it!!?? There are like 2 or 3 of these ball looking things on this plant. Only one at each node.

So what should I do with it? I hate to throw it out. It is my best looking plant so far. But I guess if I don't want seeded bud I should get rid of it. What if I just cut off the pollen sacks?

From how I understand if you cut them off they will grow back in a couple of days. You could always move it to another area and grow it til it buds then get rid of it. Im not sure how much bud they produce or anything like that.

i was wondering that too, what if u did cut off the pollen sacks
If you want to experiment go ahead.. but i would separate it from you main crop.. and from what i have heard if you start cutting off the pollen sacks.. even more will grow back.

I just hate to get rid of it. I do not have another place to put it. I think I might just put her down.

dooooont! Flower it in a hepa tent! I'd go nuts for some feminized seeds if I had a hermie. Plus itll still yield good joint makins. I mean you are lookin at a couple hundred dollars worth of fem seeds.

You get feminized seeds from a hermie.. is that what your saying?
Wouldn't the hermie seeds carry the hermie genetics?

An excellent question Toke. Hermie seeds are said to produce either Female or hermie plants.

This actually does make some sense in the survival aspect of the species. Realistically if there are no other plants around a hermie would not only create femenized seeds to keep the strain alive it can also pollenate the females around it and have them drop males.

Nope no hermie! Would have 3-8 pods coming off of one little pods stem. Lucky You A Female!

I didn't read all of this thread, but when you get feminized seeds one of two things can and will happen. First off you can get female plants, but some times the hermie side of things will pop up on a plant you thought for sure was only a female. The second thing that can and will always happen in time, is that the hermie side will show up permanently. You get male flowers growing off the sides of the plant kinda like in your pics (except 3-8 pods). And you will get in most cases a ton of male flowers growing through out your nice buds. This one sucks because all those male flowers are mixed in with all that good looking bud (yuck).

If you do get a hermie, hopefully you will have some pollin around from a different strain. This is the only way to stop the hermie from ever showing up again.
