is this a hermaphrodite?

ok this is happening to another of my plants. i pulled one of these balls off and split it open, it was a solid mass of green, no indication of anything going on inside. not pulled yet, am watching very closely.

pollen balls, do they form in clusters only? these are single balls with no sign of anything growing with them.

it usually starts a single ball then progresses to a cluster of balls. If you are not 100% sure just wait a few more days, there will not be pollen in thoses balls until they are a lil more mature. ...... (a few more days)

Here's my experience with those.....Hermie nuts don't always form in 2's and threes.

All the hermies that I force for breeding, are Females that produce only ONE of those balls per branch around the middle node.

Genetic hermies are more likely to form cluster balls than a forced hermie to to stress.

I am re posting this picture.

In the red circles. Can we get a close up macro shot of these areas? What your looking at here are the Male Flowers more than likely. This is the True way to identify your hermy.

What your looking at in the blue circle Are Seeds. Pistles that have peen polinated by the hermies own pollen.

Yep just as i thought, those yellow banna things are male flowers. Now you may or may not have something special here.

Determine If your plant is a genetic hermi, or if SOMEHOW you stressed it in some way to make it hermi.

IF YOU STRESSED IT....you can collect those bananna sacks, and save the pollin to polinate a pure female, maybe just one nug or whatever. The result......FEMINISED seeds. Yes that's right. BUT you CAN'T do this with GENETIC hermies.

You've got a genetic hermie if your plant developed balls before pistles in the early stages....You have a Stressed forced hermi, if the first month or so she apears female and bud's out like a female but developes a male flower or so per branch in the later stages.

no ive stressed it its a cutting from my mother northern lights

so what do i need 2 do ?
i did wonder if the seeds from this plant would b fem ?
im still keepin the plant alive
so i guess it would b worth giving it a go
just not sure what im supposed 2 b doing lol
cheers

learned lots from this thread, thanks guys. leaves began to form from outside of this ball, it turned into a new bud with female signs already showing. it is happening all over this plant now. am loving my first female grow, these plants are beautiful to watch grow and develop.

i began forced flowering 12/12 4 weeks ago. i read it takes two weeks, and it did. question is what point to you start counting the flowering phase, first day you do 12/12? or 2 weeks after 12/12 began?

Right on Sly .. I'm lookin for a thread that gives info on how to collect pollen, fertilize and make fem seeds by Jester 88

Here it is : https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/173816-breeding-seeds.html

yes i will take some pics of them also sgt sly
i have harvested the rest of the crop
i found the hermmie in and it has got 2 the bitches
i mean now im somking it im finding seeds
so the hermmie was the only 2 produce sacks
and as it was a forced hermmie thru stress
does this mean all the seeds will b fem ??

That is the theory and so far works for me. The only seeds that won't be feminized will be the ones off the hermie itself. Those will have genetic hermi tendencies.
