Hi everyone this is my first post. First time grower did alot of research thinking about doing a grow journal i have taken pics along the way.
Anyway so im a few weeks into flowering now and one of my girls i think may be a herm. I took a close up pic only found two of these so far and 1 fell off when i touched it lightly.
Any thoughts questions responses would be helpful. Thanks.Screenshot_2015-04-22-20-43-37.png20150422_204316.jpg

Thanks for the help i did a thorough inspection and found more had formed overnight and removed. Def a herm they were under the bud sites and some clumped together.

Yep deff a hermi that sucks dude cause is a nice looking plant. Looking healthy though, you got potential don't let this stop you. What strain? Do you have any lights leaks?

Damn man, that sucks. If its your only plant or cant afford to lose one, then keep it. Remove it from the area of any females. If you can afford to throw it away, then get rid of it.

get rid of it and clean up your room good, don't disturb it too much, shouldn't be a problem as its still young and wont leak any pollen
pollen that is not cleared up completely in the grow area can even go on to pollinate future crops

peace

the buds are very small and young i do see a small amount of resin on some of the leaves
you could leave the plant for another 2 or 3 weeks so the buds get a little bigger but should not be seeded they will be smoke-able,not great but better than nothing
if you leave it full term the buds will be full of seeds , i do not think it is worth investing that much more time in it
but if it is all you have then another couple of weeks to get something to smoke out of it is not so bad

if you do let it continue to grow you still run the risk of having pollen in your environment floating around potentially seeding the next run

I appreciate all the help and advice. This is my first grow i spent 20 on some reg stuff cause i knew it would have some seeds i got 5, 3 turned out Male.

I have 2 left 1 is pure female but i stunted the growth by using cheap soil in the beginning before i got FFOF so ill let these finish and cut dry cure go through the whole process so any mistakes i make i can be aware of and avoid in the future.

I converted a old dresser into a grow box and just using cfl's. 1 125watt big light with reflector and 4 23w smaller bulbs in sockets with splitters.

I need to make a journal i did all this for fun as an experiment for my first time nothing serious. Did a ton of research before i tried. Gonna get a Cree LED light from Area 51 rework my box and order fem seeds when i do a serious grow. This was a nice learning experience.

USING THE POLLEN FROM A HERM EVEN WITH A STRONG FEMALE WILL PRODUCE HERMY OFFSPRING WRIGHT??
Ive read that herm seeds will produce more herm plants. Im not trying to grow seeds or anything fancy just learn how to do things so i can order good stuff. Just have to be sure to clean thoroughly after each grow which is always advised anyway.

Stress and sometimes even it's genetics will cause hermaphroditism in your plants.

It's not advisable to breed mixed gender plants to create seeds because their offspring could be more likely to display hermie characteristics. These will beget more Hermies.
You need to pull from other plants to reduce pollination issue. Once your girls get pollinated they give up on making buds and concentrate on seed production.

Sucks ... It looks extremely healthy

imo that's a common mistake beginners make. Had you started with stable genitics you would be well on your way to some awsome bud instead of pulling a hermie. The plant looks healthy, like you did a good job with it. Just poor genes

been growing for near 20 years, never had a herm till this year and now ive had 2 herms in 3 months.. a nl#5 from bcsc hermed, and a skunk#1 from seedsman both herms both were directly from seed companies..sucks as i wanted to use them for breeding as they were both suppose to be stabilized hybrids...i thought they were males so i seperated them to collect pollen, then within 2 weeks they were getting hairs along with the balls,,really sucks..none of my females ever herm out so its weird how 2 males ended being herms insted
