Is this a good time to start flowering?

The plants seem over a foot tall right now, and they have been getting 24hours of light. I know they need more light but i am keeping this setup for this first grow. Is it a good time now or should I wait longer? How long?

um, how old are they? they should veg for at least 1-1 1/2 months, unless it's a certain quicker strain, I'd let them veg for at least 2-3 more weeks. Why don't you top them first? try this...

sorry for my ignorance but what is topping?, my plants are 1.5 months old.

if you top it and leave it for another half a month then throw it into flower

how big is your space you can work with? they still grow when their flowering....ive only grown once, i started to flower at liek 4 feet. i presonally wouldnt flowering earlier than 20 inches... but idk im just a newb haha
