Is This a Good Soil or Not?

refer to the 2d pic on original post, german fertilizer, it is not a soil less mix, it has nutes in it, it says so. Just doesn't give the values.
i retract my previous statement... wiseguy's got the right idea
most seedling mixes, soils specifically made for seedling will be very light and airy, and will generally contain no nutrients. i have seen seedling soil with rooting hormones added.
if i were you i would let the soil dry some, do you have holes in the bottom of the cup? if you dont have proper drainage it could cause a water table effect, essentially drowning your roots and stopping growth. letting the soil dry a little more between waterings kinda stresses the roots in a good way, it makes them reach and search for water, and when you give it to them they thrive...

so step by step?

ph some water to 6.5, about 2 party cups worth(enough for 2wice the soil). your gonna slowly pour both cups of ph water and let it drain out the holes i hope you made. you just flushed your soil

let it dry, should only take about 3-4 days in that cup, but not to the point the plant is dying or anything. check the holes you made and see if the soil at the bottom is dry. now you have some clean soil ready for a MILD dose of nutes. i wouldnt suggest any more than 1/4 strength until you can gauge the reaction

after you do that let us know what happens

I am afraid to overwater the plants. If I undestund good you sugest me to give them a lot of water to clean the soil from any nutes and then to put as much as need to grow?(sorry my engish is not the best.)

I got 3 new born babies growing in a dwc set up [ a 7in deep container 14x20 w/ 2- 10in. air stones] .. I have the water level about one and half inches below net pots. Is the water level about right?? The rock wool in the net pots seem pretty wet, almost soggy wet. The water temp is around73f, is that good?? I am working on getting some A/C in the room but right now the temp has been staying around 77 in the room,,, is that to high?? Any help will be appreciated big time!!!

if you want to save those plants , plain ph'd water until they look better. I think if you attempt to flush them you will kill them by over feeding them(and that is just a guess).

As nicely as possible, you need to start your own thread, and not hi-jack this one. Have a nice day!

if he has a nutrient burn and doesnt flush... just watering is just gonna keep burning the plants
do you agree he had too much nutrients?

and OP, do you have drainage in that cup? we havent ruled out over-watering

YES!! plants need to breath... if your leaving them in a closed area with no air circulations that COULD be causing your problems.
Also I didn't had any fun since today. my room is a big room but I mount it anyway. could be the air one of the problems.

between the nutes in the soil and the 20-20-20 he fed it yes it got nute burn. So , just watering may not burn the plant. I think they look like ass but are salvage able.

That soil mixture is way low in perlite. Usually I do like a 50/50 ratio of potting soil and perlite if it isn't already ready out of the bag. That's why I just buy a more expensive and better soil that's premixed because it ends up costing me about the same and sometimes even more wen buying it seperately. Mix your soil with perlite or get a new soil and start over.

however, a large size room would contain enough co2 for those lil things for a month..lol
you still need fresh air exchanges.

how much is 2g of a liquid? not gallons im sure

first time apeared the yellow leafs when one night gave to my plants some nutes(for first time) and a lot of water. I did't feed them again since that day. also the leafs goes worst when the sun is too strong. And I think my soil getting dry too slow. I hope this to be helpfull to undestand what is the problem. thanks

agreed, I do about 60% soil, 40% perlite. Sorry didn't mention that. Good point!

i ask again, how much is 2g of a liquid fertilizer? if you only watered fed with nutes once and they look like that ever since... then you gave too much.
how many tablespoons or teaspoons, mL, fluid ounces?
