Seems like a fair to good price from what I've seen lately. Especially with shipping included. Low cost equals low quality typically, so don't expect much. You might get lucky.

I'm with Ziggo, you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to grow tech. I guess you have t start somewhere, but if you don't get out of the cost saving mentality you will not reap the same rewards.

While tents online are fine, I'd personally look for ballasts bulbs and hoods from a local source so in the event of a problem, it can be solved the next day.

It will get you going. I have a cheap ebay light and so far so good. If you can pay the extra for a vented reflector.

the best thing you could do with HID lights is use either AIR COOLED hoods or COOL TUBES, the cost isnt THAT much more and it saves you alot of headaches.

Thank you guys. Very helpful. I just need to get going and build from here. Cost is a definite issue at this point

On the face of it, the price is tempting. I don't want to discourage you, but I'd be concerned about the build quality of the tent at that price. Does it have plastic corner brackets, or metal ones? How strong are the tubes? Be prepared to stabilize the framing tubes before you start hanging gear; cheap tubes have an uncanny talent for depositing your light fixture and carbon filter right on top of your crop in, like, about Week 3 of flower.

Zippers are another weak point - with a cheap tent, you have to be really careful to make sure you have the zippers perfectly aligned so as not to put too much stress on them when you try to zip up. Keep a roll of duct tape handy at all times, especially when you get to flower.

Sorry to sound like a Debby Downer. I'm definitely not trying to discourage you; just trying to give you a heads up for a couple things to prepare for. Like Intenseneal says, it gets you started, eh? If you take really good care of it, and it gets you through one entire grow (or even two) without a major problem, it'll pay for a much better quality setup that may be better suited for your long term needs.
