Is this a gnat?

Pretty big to be a gnat wasn't a small fly like a gnat usually is caught it flying around my grow room n crawling on the floor when I gave it the shoe of justice

a gnat or an aphid, hope it's a gnat

notice a root aphid has those little leg things coming out it's ass and a gnat does not.

That is a type bug I've seen before but never in a grow. They are predatory.

Did you smash the body?

Hard to say...looks like flying aphid or a flying ant. I'd go with flying ant.
