Is there some special trick to convince a plant to grow as a female?

i have heard and read (marijuana horticulture medical grower bible) that giving seedlings flourecent light in the cool blue spectrum along with feeding nitrogen will increase the number of females. this is how i have done all my seedlings but i dont know if it is fact.

enviroment influence male and females traits.stress can cause male flowers on a female plant like extreme temps or messing with the light scedule.
high nitrogen,low potassium,high humidity,consistent low temps,and more of the blue light spectrum all cause you to have more females and this happens early on.that's why it's best to have your grow room all set before you even begin.feminized seeds have a tendency to go hermie if stressed depending on how the seeds were femenized in the first place.it's because of knowing this i use regular seeds with great success.
ps. there is also manufactured hormones that can change a plants sex.from female to male.

I gave a plant a sex change once, but it got depressed and killed itself. I guess you just can't force things to live the life you want for them.

its predetermined what sex it is b4 it even sprouts, you can not make a plant thats in veg automatically be hermie when flowered by stressing it in veg or if they have natural hermie genetics ithey will be hermie of course.

ya dont stress it.... ur plant's sex is determined in the seed , b4 it even grows.. its already determined what sex it is... but stress can turn a female into a male b4 it even goes into flower.. even b4 4 nodes... so no, there is no there is no way to make them gurls, its determined in the seed b4 it sprouts.. but it can however turn male from stress... too bad we couldnt stress males int females, i think there would be more happy ppl on this site

the sex is cast as soon as the seed is formed, they may look like tortoise shells but unlike tortoises the sex is not determined by environment. If you want more lil girls you need to buy feminized seeds. End of story.
now if you want to make a lady into a ladyboy that is different you can force a hermie, and you can inbreed a forced hermie with a regular female and the seeds you should get should be feminized... or hermies.

yeah man... like i suggested in your thread, just working ontaking clones of the fems you get... or start flowering clones off your unsexxed plants to find out what your fucking with... i have seen you put some time into your plants only to get majority male... like i said, sex a clone, cut out some bullshit time...
