Is there going to be a difference?

og kush from seed. Both were put in soil on april 28......First 1 is in a pot using organic soil.................and the second 1 is in the garden. Any reason why one is much bigger than the other...organic soil???

If the plant has no container around it, then it can grow its roots as big as it wants and grow as big as it wants. If it is in a pot, then root space is contained and the plant can only achieve a maximum size.

yeh but id say the one in the pot looks bushier and slighlty bigger?

it would possibly have grown slightly bigger because there would be more nutrients in the organic soil and the soil you are growing in has perlite in it which would provide more oxygen for the roots and help growth.

I dug holes in my garden filled them almost half with perlite, and MG. I believe it is the organic soil, or just one of those things where some just grow bigger than others.........and can i top them now??

You can def top now if you like, mine where about half that size when I top them and it only took them 2-3 days to recover.

well then thats probably down to genetics more than soil, theres variations in every strain and some seedlings will natrually grow bigger and stronger than others, although perhaps the organic soil is better suited to mj than the MG , theres too many variables to truly know which factor it is without doing loads of controlled experiments.

Well i found out....yes there is a difference....turned into a dwarf

dude aint they a bit small for how long they have been alive? or am i seeing things? othey than that they look nice and healthy man.
