Is there any type of chemical that i can buy at walmart that will help my plant grow?

I would not recommend
buying your nutes at wal-mart. You could use a fertilizer like liquid miracle grow or alaska fish but I would not rely on these throughout the flower cycle. You need more P and K for good bud development. To make a long story short you will get out what you put in. If you insist on using common general purpose lawn type fertilizer you will be disappointed with the end product. Go to a grow shop and talk to the sales man.

There are many ways to talk about growing weed without saying Marijuana. As a matter of fact don't say marijuana! You can talk about plants or the classic "Tomato" but they know what you are doing and that is why they are there.
