i also use what i *know* works as opposed to some s--- i read... i've had it before and probably will again, the dehumidifier i've got just can't quite cut it, especially now that it is cooler and more humid over here... the problem is that people have these ideas which may not work, as opposed to something they use and know does work... try it if you don't believe me...

i did try your method and it works great also
maybe if op has several effected plants he can use each method recommended one different plants and give us a report on results like a experiment

i love side by side ones like that hope the OP does it with pics to if he has more the one effected plant but like others said u had 3 grows and had this problem
well then it time to fix humidity issue so it doesnt happen to next grow

now that sounds like a truly valuable experiment fab... nice idea!!!!

yep, if it keeps coming back you don't have enough air circulation or if it is sealed (as in for co2 applications) you definitely need to have a dehumidifier which is strong enough to suit your needs...

As ha been said, there are many methods o get rid of PM, but just know that once a plant has it you can clear up the symptoms, but the PM lives forever in the plant ready to flare up when the conditions are right. A big problem is taking clones off of your infected plants - the high humidity during cloning makes the PM come back, and once your plants are mature excess humidity brings it back. The only options are fresh genetics and lower humidity.
Sort of true, it does not live in the plant but spores survive in the environment waiting for a suitable place to take up habitation.

Im inclined to agree with sparkabowl. I've gone through months of clearing it up just have it flare up again. It's a bad deal, but to clear up you can use any of the fore mentioned solutions will work. I've tried most of them and have had success and if its in flowering give it up, it gets inside the flowers and is nearly impossible to get rid.

Stylet Oil works for me, non oily, non scented, and can use up until the day of harvest. Completely organic. And they use it out in Cali in the grape vineyards for the purpose of...Killing PM!

In turf management they wash it off with a hose and increase light and air circulation.

Also, if it is a shaded area they increase light at the same time. I have seen them increase light by usinging mirrors and thinning the canopies of trees and using huge, HUGE fans strung from the trees and it controls all sorts of diseases.

I'd take my babies to the tub and gently rinse her down and increase circulation big time and blowing air directly on them for a little while. The spore can't take hold in that environment. Darkness, high humidity, low circulation are your enemy here. imho.

In addition to improving circulation/ventilation/humidity control, avoid misting plants if the water will not evaporate before nighttime. Then apply whatever control you like.

At night the plants 'breathe' the somata open and the plant handles co2 and o2 along with any substances not needed. This goo is called guttation and should not be confused with dew. Guttation may contain organic and inorganics, sugars, mineral nutrients, potassium, etc.

Turf managers water in the morning for a reason. It is to wash off the guttation because it can promote diseases. And this guttation that will be right next to the stomata, a direct entrance to the inside of your plant. So I water my plants whenever I feel like it but, when I mist, I mist a few minutes before the lights go on to make sure the stomata are clean and it is dried off by the lights.

In other words, not mist at night. Remember darkness, non-air circulation, humidity are your enemy. At night you have 2 of those 3 factors-darkness and a slightly high humidity. imho

alright basically there is no cure, other than new genetics and new enviroment, everything else is just to control or treat and mitigate pm. i wish there was something that could cure an infected plant. has anyone tried eagle20

i have that humidity always 40 and below, i have 4 inch intake and 6inch exhaust, im going increase to 6 inch intake, i have intake hepa filter, sterilize the tent and new clones, and then preventatively spray once a week with milstop. (better than serenade). im going to cut more fan leaves halfway through flower and add a third ocsillating fan. Anything else, im tired of seeing only 2/3 to 1/2 the yield because of pm.
