Are there a lot more self-righteouss assholes than usual? Is help harder to find? I am experiencing a lot of hostility between the people asking and answering. Have we hit the high water mark?

Absolutely I have. That is just part of it, people are quick to be combative and show off. Is it just me? I hope so. The mentorship motivated are fewer and bad advice by know-it-all assholes is everywhere.
 
no but i have mentioned a site clean up, for threads that are inactive for a number of years. though there is one thread i have i cant find.
 
Am I going to be considered am asshole for not answering a question thats answer is readily available? Its the summer so schools out, there are questions that get posted alot and there is an influx this time of year. Some people lose their minds seeing the same questions. Sometimes its better to read a bit and find someone to PM that seems helpful and may have a good answer to your question.
 
it depends, i feel i see a lot of overreaction and hostility, but at the same time there are a ton of people asking ridiculous questions where its obvious they didnt even try to find an answer.
 
Sometimes simple questions get turned into dick measuring contests between experienced growers.

Good advice. A lot of people come on here and expect nae demand advice without reading or building any relationships to speak of.

I say fuck em. Imagine someone you dont know asking you to impart wisdom you have built up over many years and doing it in a blunt dickish way. Really just fuck em.

Yes, I have learnt a lot here and appreciate that some great growers frequent this board but fuck me you seem like a dick.

Also when I was refering to people being arseholes I wasn't only talking about people responding to questions. It is often the opposite.

true that, even babe ruth couldn't hit a homerun at every at bat so dont take the wrong advice the first time and depict the whole site bullshit, cause that will make you seem closeminded, in other words not a true smoker
