Is the Male cannabis a complete waste?

Just found out one of my plants is male. I don’t want to toss it because I took care of it. So I guess you can say I’m emotionally attached. HA! Wondering if you experts on here can help me out with some solid advise.

I read mix’d feeling in regards to making cannubutter with the male cannabis. Wondering if you all know if that would be a great idea?

Also wondering if there’s anything else I can do with it? I originally wanted to keep the seeds of it cause the stems are pretty solid, the plant is healthy & it’s smells GREAT! But I don’t know the strain. I rather invest my time on a strain I want.

All in all, I want to give it a purpose. Any ideas?

Yes.

Is it worth it?

No.

About the best use for them is breeding. But pal, that's best left to the pros. Chunk it and be done with it.

Make compost with it

I read it’s worth it. How did you do it?

Perfect for breeding, especially if you have a nice early one. Otherwise..nope.

You can pollinate a bud or two so you have seeds later. Do a couple plants to check quality

Mulled a shitload up ,put it in a crockpot with a kg of coconut oil,let it stew for about 12hrs strain it through a fine cloth, in the fridge until it sets,and that’s it, I use it for cookies or a spoon full in my coffee,whatever you want

Any ideas? Make some seeds. Pollinate a branch or two.

Males have a very important place. They are needed to breed regular seeds. Some people freak out and act like a male is a terrorist or something. Those that don't want males for any reason should just grow feminized seed. I myself prefer to grow regular seed and hope for a nice male so I can make more seed. It's concerning to see how it's becoming harder and harder to get regular seeds. It seems like whenever I browse the seed sites looking for regular landrace seeds that I don't have everything is either feminized photo or feminized auto. I've also noticed an increase of people with plants showing hermaphroditic tendencies. I don't know what or if there is a connection but it's something to think about. I do find it concerning that at the rate things are going within the next decade the only seeds most people will be able to get are feminized. I don't think that's a good thing.

Does he tell you he loves you or acts like he's ever going to be committed?

Will he take care of you, hold you or even hold your hair back from the toilet bowl if your going green?

Does he just sits there motionless acting like a damned plant?

Hes probably just in it for your female pistils. Best you just let him go or use him to fertilize your seed then move on.

Yes we can.

I have this buddy who is always broke and out of pot. I save the tops and small leaves off my males for him. He smokes it. Says it gets him high.

But save it long enough to collect a little pollen. Making seeds is easy. And when you only have one male to chose from, selection stress is very low.
