Why is it so important?
Yes, the psychoactive properties of the plant are quite different, depending on how long the resin has been allowed to mature. The same plant can thus be experienced as crucial to smoking differently, all depending on whether it was harvested at the right time or not.
In general, it can be said that the longer the resin is allowed to mature, the more potent the finished product becomes. And the greater the content of the various cannabinoids there will be.
You can of course use this to compare with the type of smoke you prefer.
If the plant is harvested while the resin is completely ready, the experience of smoking the plant will usually be quite mild, refreshing and very little physical (ie not so tiring / sedative). This is probably because very little of the THC has degenerated into CBD, CBN and other cannabinoids.
- But do not harvest too early. If you do, the content of THC will be too low at all, and then you will not get much out of it all.
The best thing, in my opinion, is to turn until about 30-50% of the resin has become milky. Here the plant has reached the top level for THC production and there is still a minimal content of the other cannabinoids. The experience of smoking plants harvested at this time will usually be the classic "get tall, happy and a little silly", and at the same time the plant also has maximum psychoactive potential, if you should now be one of those people who just enjoy smoking a little, and then sit and think about things or do something else creative.
However, some people prefer the evil stone-smoker, and if you are one of them, then you have to wait to harvest the plants until the resin starts to turn reddish brown. So after one more week of riping, I am adding some more pictures. I think she has atleast another week to go, but love to hear your opinions once again!
Some leaves have yellowed up further and fell down. The pistils are becoming more and more brown, but some new white pistils have shown up these last few days.

199 grams wet! I think that's great considering the small growbox I've been using (35cm x 35cm x 70cm). Thanks to all of you for the quick replies and the great insight.

45g dry was my result!
I was super sad to see my biggest bud have spots of grey mold inside of it, luckily it was the only one. Next time I'll break the bud down more before drying, I think something went wrong there.
So.. my next problem was that I overdied. I used the WeDryer S1 which dried way faster then I thought. After putting it in jars it read a steady 49% humidty, even the next day. I've read that the curing process stops at 55%, and bringing it up wont fix the problem.
Still have 35g of bomb ass weed left to smoke and vaporize with my bois
