i have trouble accepting what is taught to me by religion. basically in my mind ive simplified it to this. Christianity wants me to believe that a cosmic zombie (who was his own father), born from a 'virgin', can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in all humans because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree and thereby pissing off an invisible wizard who lives in the sky (who couldn't find the only 2 humans on Earth)?
sounds like scifi to me. but hey, to each his own. i just dont like people who try to force their beliefs on other people. thats why i never participate in religious arguments. people believe what they feel is real, and if that includes god/jesus/"the truth" or whatever, then for them, thats fact. but its never the same for everyone. if it was, we would all be zombies incapable of original thought...and thats scary to me.
