That is a good question your right. Its probably because I had only talked to him on instagram prior to meeting him and he doesn't know me and want to give me his magic sauce outright. He is primarily a seed seller he used to sell cuts more frequently but he says its not something he does much now. The general public can access his SSH Catpiss in BX3 forum so he wanted to give me something that the community has access to. Its the only thing I can think of. Your correct if he is making BX seeds that means he still must have the master cut. He said that once he gets to BX6 it should be virtually identical to the mom. He said its already pretty dam close I remember him saying that.

Man this is so cool brother thanks for this info. Looks like you have some of the old REAL cali piss lines thats incredible I have been searching for these everywhere online and they prove to be extremely hard to find. I'm in love with the old school SoCal Piss Cut the one that I had was that Train-wreck (likely not the Arcata it was the older TW) then it had old school skunk in it which took it to level 11. Nasty Skunk with piss ammonia and black pepper pine-sol citrus. It was so complex it was like the layers of smell just kept going as your brain recognized one smell you were immediately smacked with another. Had that acrid almost rubbing alcohol thing going on and the nugs were greasy with big calyxes that would stick to your fingers when you broke it up. I just started following piffcoast on Instagram yesterday Im assuming thats you nice!
I go as outdoor_boogie on there so you will see me. Anyways I was checking out your genetics on your website and your stuff looks absolute Fire brother! I see that you did a bunch of crosses with that original old school Cuban black haze thats rad super difficult to find that online too I have read all about it.Do you currently offer anything in your catalogue that has that SoCal catpiss in it? In your opinion what strain in your catalogue has the hardest ammonia burn and loudest nose? Im super interested my man! Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I am in no way soliciting. Just sharing basic strain information. I don’t even offer these lines or have these clones anymore. Just sharing my experience of growing them in the past.
Im gonna vouch for you @Piffcoastfarms ive had quite a bit of interactions with you because we happen to like a lot of the same strains. Never have you tried to sell me shit. Straight told what you know from personal experience/research into some strains and thats all.

wouldnt be surprised. It wasn’t pissy really at all. Supposed to have come from the archive camp as far back as I could trace it. Never kept it for another run
right but the question i quoted the customer hes asking marketing questions so he needs to route to your email, otherwise its unfair to the paid sponsors and the other people who dont pay and have been told to stop with marketing.

Ssh, nl5/haze, Mongolian indica, white widow, HGF Afghani, pole cat, these are just a few names that I've grown out from seed and found catpiss smelling genotypes.
I wasn't saying I had the original catpiss. What I was telling the tweeker guy was that the name "catpiss" is a generic name thrown on any herb that had the terp profile back then.

I agree, I’ve gotten so much shit for posting about the nyc catpiss haze which is the catpiss from MY childhood. Everyone has different experiences and in the black market days if you weren’t a grower and were passed weed called catpiss that’s what you based your knowledge off of. There isn’t just one, there’s the one from YOUR area! I hope everyone finds their holy grail piss
Yeah i think theres at least 3 or 4 different cat piss cuts of varying genetics too ones a skunk ones a indica and ones a ssh pheno and god knows what else theres proly more
I second white widow being one for sure also theres also a baby sick pheno too that used to go around as a cut

I can tell you that with certain skunks it aint dead for sure my friends got some skunk seeds i gave them on the go just now and even in veg it reeks of catpiss cant wait to see what its like when its done i find with old strains this type of smell and taste profile is more common i aint smelled it in anything thats proper new and not just a new cross of old genetics i have heard many mention it coming more from either afghani or columbian genetics specifically makes sense if you consider it there in skunk and lumbo is definitely in haze too and with the real white widow i always suspected that those types of phenos came from the south indian hybrid maybe that had some ghani in it who knows for sure tho

Aculpoco gold from Barney's seeds one plant has a very strong catpiss smell lol. I thought I did something wrong on the grow but now reading this thread it is probably the sativa dominate genes coming through.
I gave my buddy some and he hates it but does admit it gets you very stoned.
