When first starting out, they always run into problems, wouldn't it be wise to start with a perpetual grow so that you can get in multiple generations in a smaller amount of time allowing you to make the changes necessary in order to grow them "perfect" from seed to product. Instead of having 1 grow fail, a second grow fail to a different reason, and waste 6 months getting right, when you can fail on your first 2 sets of plants and only have wasted in theory 2 months, since on the third month you'd be introducing new plants where you could maintain them to the point they needed, and while you continue to mess up as the first 2 get older, your third and rest of the grow will be in tow and be able to sustain much higher health, which will result in a greater understanding quicker and great product in your "first try".
