Is it normal for the first leafs that come out of the ground to start to turn brown at the tips and ccurl under after the secound leaves start to come out. I have 5 plants and 2 have this problem. I just started them Sunday afternoon. They are under flors to start. The others seem fine. I am using Fox Farm soil.

the very very very first embryonic leaves (small circular ones) are ok to fall off but anything after that is bad.

If you're pants stem has snapped at the bottom then there's really little chance of recovery. But if they just got too tall and fell over without snapping then it's possible to just attach a grow stick.... You can use a straw or like I use use those sandwhich toothpick deals... They are REALLY long tooth picks. I'll take a pic of them if u dont know what I'm talking about...

Peace and good luck

What did you water with? Straight water or treated [ferts] water? For my money, I start with straight distilled or rain water. Also, how warm is your area you have the plants in?? It could be a combination of too much water/not enough heat. Hope this helps...
