Is she ready?

One week has passed and as you can see she has already sucked most of the leaves. And fatten up!
The color change in this last week was noticeable. She is now looking more brown-yellow. There is still some purple color but it's becoming darker.

Let me know what do you think guys.
Anyway I will have to chop her one week from now and no more because I got three weeks of time left before I'm leaving for a vacation. One more week to let her grow, one week for drying and one for curing checking that everything is going as it should...and then I have to leave for 2 weeks.

I think way too many people are harvesting early because they see a couple amber pistils and call it done because they looked at some illustration showing the different stages of trichome development. It doesn't matter how many amber pistils people see through some USB microscope attached to their phone. If you have 30% white pistils the plant is not ready. Now some long flowering sativa's will just keep putting out new pistils literally until the plant dies and harvesting those may be different but for the majority of people growing hybrids don't even bother checking the trichomes if the buds are covered in new pistils.

I'm guilty. After an 11 yr break I did 4 grows all probably harvested early although one by necessity. Damn glad I stopped in on this post. I never thought of slowed water consumption. I'll look for all of those signs now. Thank you.
