When you talking about increasing THC it does and it doesn't. People's understanding that it increases it's THC potentcy % this is bullshit. I agree wives tales. However shock inducing greater resin production is not. You making more of the reasons not increasing potency.Shock your plants to produce more thc is common wife's tale. Like sticking a steak in the middle of stem and stab it like it was Dracula

As for flushing again there is enough evidence on both side to suggest you should or shouldn't its open for interiptations as much as many other forms of debates such as nutes, pH, spectrum, led/hps, soil vs hydro etc etc. Comes down to preference. I prefer to do it. Some don't. Best thing to advise is flush this time dont flush next time see what you think. (Or to appease the antiflushers) don't flush this time flush next time. Large medical producers also argue the same toss, flushed or not flushed. Same with commerical growers in a Holland.
Never heard of blasting with uvb in the final two weeks. Hey there are some werid things people try out there so why not.
Well this article undoes your argument the stress induction to plants doesn't work and is a wife's tale.A UV-B-specific signaling component orchestrates plant UV protection
UV-B radiation in sunlight has diverse effects on humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms. UV-B can cause damage to molecules and cells, and consequently organisms need to protect against and repair UV damage to survive in sunlight. In plants, low nondamaging levels of UV-B stimulate...www.pnas.org
Haha might have to give that a try as well!! What cut is best? I prefer eye filletShock your plants to produce more thc is common wife's tale. Like sticking a steak in the middle of stem and stab it like it was Dracula
I would also like to see some side by side tests... would be extremely interesting to see 4 plants, 2 with all the bells and whistles, and 2 just left for nature to take course, both grown in the same environment, but separated 2 weeks prior to harvest... might have to give it a try next season lol. However don't get me wrong as an open minded individual it's something I would try to see for myself. However I like the university citations and will look for further arguments for and against as I'm curious.
The same sort of interested pequied when blurple was all the rage. Turn out what a lot of shit!
Seeing as you know about it have you got side by side tests. I'd like to see them and your set up if I may. Also I'm interest if you or anybody else reading has combined all the methods so, uvb, ice water flushing, dark periods and seen what happens?
Buds as sticky as insect traps..........maybe?
Here you go. I was planning on topping and low stress training her like my others, but unfortunately had a main stem snap early in life, she was hanging on by a thread but managed to save her! But because of that I couldn’t do what I wanted to her, And then I had to take action because she got way to close to the light... needless to say I have learned a lot since I planted her, and I havnt made the same mistakes twice haha.I don’t think that looks a week away. You should give us a picture of the whole plant.
Congrats on your first plant. It looks pretty healthy a little heavy on the nitrogen but not to bad. I’d probably give it 14ish days personally. Water only at this stage would be fine, but I wouldn’t “flush” with large amounts of water.Haha might have to give that a try as well!! What cut is best? I prefer eye fillet
But In all seriousness I have looked over everything now (the next morning) and I can understand it a little better now lol. And yes I have also heard that it’s a wife’s tale, but some people swear by it, some people say it makes all the difference. For my first run (this one) I’m going to flush and shock with ice, for the next I’m going to do nothing... best way to find out is actually doing it in your own conditions I guess lol. Thanks tho for all the info, gave me a lot to think about!
Thanks! I know the nitrogen is a little over the top... the soil I was using had 18 months worth off nutes, so switched it up and my other plants are loving it, also know what I’m doing now with liquid nutrients... not just giving them tons and expecting more bud because off itCongrats on your first plant. As a general rule my suggestion is try all the side by sides yourself, many of us have done it of the years. It’s best done with clones of the same plant grown in the same conditions with only one variable changed at a time. It takes time to gather useful information in an effective way. But before you worry about all those variables, just learn to grow, harvest, and dry in a basic manner.
Cannabis plants aren’t magical. They are just plants that we want to grow to be healthy so they reach their fullest potential. They need fairly basic nutrition, light, water and air. The best buds come from a healthy FULLY RIPE plant.
LOLThe 21 day rule also includes flushing time if you want to flush.
Anti flusher by any chance?
Get outya here with your bro scienc bs. If you heard you should put ice on your plants, you heard wrong.Added to this I've seen/read about it but never done it. People have piled ice on top of there medium to flush it at the start. Let it melt rather then water it. I have no experience with it but always nice to learn or share something different.
Hmm ok mate. *Blows kiss* smoke your salts xxGet outya here with your bro scienc bs. If you heard you should put ice on your plants, you heard wrong.
Flushing has been proven to not work. Keep feeding until the end. This is based on real data. Not your opinion or what you've "heard". This poor guy is gunna lose weight and potency listening to this advice... ice?... really?..
Do your mental gymnastics all you want.Hmm ok mate. *Blows kiss* smoke your salts xx
I would agree with you if you were 100% organic but synthetic you're ok I'll flush. There are enough labs around the world that contradict the nonflush arguement just as much as there is evidence for flushing. It's very easy to produce "evidence" that supports your arguement. FFS flat earthers can do it. Doesn't mean it right. So fuck your bro science bs......
It all comes down to what works for you. Ever tried following a grower when you first started? There plants are epic and yours are dead or yellow? Or ever wondered why people add things you dont or that you think would be insane? Becuse it works for them which is what growing is about.
I dont 'overdose' my plants with nutrients so a three week cure and there is zero evidence to suggest it was never flushed....3 weeks flush LOL thanks for the laugh though buddy.Anti flusher by any chance?
Now I’m not sure! This plant has suffered ALOT... broke her just about at the base when she was 3 weeks old, managed to keep her alive, but couldn’t top or train because of the injury, so I thought I may as well see how 1 grows “wild” if you know what I mean lol, then she got to close to the LED in early flower stretch, so had to tie her down. before coming here I had seen people ‘ice’ there plants, and thought “well I may as well see what happens” haha. I honestly can’t see I will get any more than a half Oz, what do you think?? I know it’s almost impossible to say but have a crack!Get outya here with your bro scienc bs. If you heard you should put ice on your plants, you heard wrong.
