i planted my seedling with little root on Thursday..i checked it on Friday morning and nothing pop up...i go out that day then got back today i came check my plant and i saw she's STRESSING and the leaf is YELLOW so i immediately turn the lights and fans on and move her closer to the lights
what could this be? is it the lack of light or high temperature? my temp was 80F and humidity was 60% is she going to die or something?
btw this is Afhgan Kush Ryder

Woah... I've never seen that on a seedling.. I'd say if it is still upright there is a chance it could survive, I guess you just gotta wait it out and hope it turns green.

She will green up after she warms to the light. They mostly are yellowish when they just pop outta the seed. She looks good for her 1st day.

the leaves on a seedling are usually yellow when they pop out, they will turn green once they grow another pair of leaves

Its normal, might mean the seeds are a bit old and used up most of the oil in the seed.
Some seeds do that when fresh as well.

I've had some great plants starting that way, don't worry.

The next set of leaves should come out green.

You have the right idea..I'd let her get more established in that medium a couple days then repot her up to her "head" in a new pot. my thoughts exactly

they tend to stretch like that when they want more light, although as young as it is, i wouldnt want to get too close, but you're using cfls so heat shouldnt be a problem. I would get her under some better light once she gets a couple of new nodes, dont want her stretching too much. And the reason she was yellow was cuz she hadnt really been exposed to the light and hasn't produced any chlorophyll, they need light to do so. Are you planning on using cfls the whole time or are u moving them under a HID eventually?

put lights 2-3 cms away , in the first week they practically need no light , the strecth is gonna get worse imo , cause it was yellow while it was well over off the soil , that means it thought it was still undersoil and was struggling to emerge

if u can be a real gentle person ( lets say if u were good with scale modeling ) u can try to put some soil right away take a handfull of fine soil and put it slowly slowsly while with other hand holding the plant in one place , even if it bents a bit or the emrging spot goes well close to the pot wall it while be fine as long as u dont snap it , if it stretches more it will be more dificult then imo

Not sure if u should be talking about journals right now ,your plant is sick. I think its too wet, dont water as much now. Also i dont see any drain holes in that cup, if so it wasnt getting enough air in the soil as well. Leave lights on 24/7.
