Is Reverse Osmosis Water too Good?

I've heard how great RO water is, but will my plants "miss out" on some of the important things that non RO water bring (minerals, etc.).

uhh I highly doubt it my R/O always has perfect ph w/ or w/o nutes and my plant looks great...read my journal....there is much more to worry about than if your R/O is missing some viable mineral...

only if your plants like all the shit that comes out of your faucet.. Arsenic at my last house, lead, chlorine just to name a few.. Last place I used a 6stage ro/di system and I filter every single impurity out and get a clean reading of 0ppm before I mix any nutes or PH the water..... Some places Tap water is fine..(as long as you PH it..) mine here is running about 90ppm and 8.6PH so the ppm realy isnt bad I can lower the PH I need to check online for the recent water analysis for my area though..

I checked out your 1st girl....Nice. She looked great!! Was that w/ RO water? What kind of nutes did you use?

First grow and the one in my avatar was all with that ro/di and Advanced Nutrients, 1000watt HPS.. no co2



this grow..so far Im using store bought distilled(limited space for my 55g rubbermaid I use to hold the water) along with the full Advanced Nutrients line with the addition of co2 this time... More plants this time also.. last time it was like 26plants or something under a 1000w now Im at 47 under the 1000w=)Its going to be very crowded very fast in my garden

lol I think he meant me on checking out the 1st girl....yes only R/O from germination to now...I use all Fox Farm products except I also use Botainicare's Liquid Karma

i have been using distilled and ro water and i just realized today that my grow big (ff) makes the ph drop to like 6.2 . is this too low for a soil - should i get ph up?

I dont think its too low thats about what my ph always is my plant looks great
