Is Replanting stretching seedlings a good idea!?!

I have a couple seedlings that recently popped up but there like 3 and a half inches tall I was wondering if it would be a smart or stupid idea replanting them and burying the stems a little because idk if it might rot so help me guys asap!!! I want to save these plants!! :weed::-o:-o:joint:

yes do it and calm down they can take some abuse and still live. Also put your light close to it or it will just happen again

Alright guys thanks alot for the tips! im going to bury them and see how it turns out, I was just afraid of the roots rotting and stuff. I heard that your supposed to only water them a little bit during this process to prevent rotting from happening? so I figure i'll do that too. I grew another time a couple years ago I kinda forgot about the plants possibly strecthing and I had them on a window sill for 2 days once they sprouted and they popped up so fast it was crazy, I intend to put them outside soon because springs here so I want to make sure their stalks will support them so the wind doesn't kill them :O i'll try to post some pics up for you guys to see and keep you posted. Thanks again fellow growers!

well if ur gunna replant the stems and then put them right back in the same lighting situation ur gunna get the same result. if ur not going to put outdoors now then get some supplemental light such as a few CFLs so u can prevent the strech from happeing again.

put a fan on those buggers and also more light and yes its a great idea to replant the stems!! :)
