Is remembering your flowering date important?

no not if you know what your doing. flowering times for strains usually arent right down to the day anyways. you just gotta know what to look for.

Yep when trichs are half amber and half cloudy is when most harvest...i like to wait for a lil more amber color...thats why most people give a rough estimate....like mine is 27-34 days left
 
Good I'll just keep an eye on the trichromes....

Amber gives more of a couch lock high, and just cloudy gives more of a psychoactive effect?

I usually write the flower date on a piece of duct tape, and stick it on the pot.
atleast you have a reference date you can compare to what the plants doing for that week.
I'll look at the date when she went in and date she finished.
if I run that strain again I have a Good ball park idea when it should finish.
alot of the flowering times they give you for a strain are off.
But in the end it all depends on how you want to roll. I keep a loose record in my head.

not essential but is handy and isn't hard to do, start flower write date = simples

I think in the spirit of being a great grower, having a record of how long a strain takes is good for future grows.... sure u dont need to know how far along it is cause u can harvest by trichomes but its a personal thing i guess...
