Is rain water the poorman's RO filter?

Checked out some rain water...6.2 ph and 12 ppm....it's way cleaner than my tap...
anyone run rain water hydro?
is there some some of funk in it that i don't know about it?
i would love to not use the RO as much....

Idk about in hydro but I use water from the rain barrel to water my soil grows. Never noticed a problem. I'm sure its a bit different in Ph depending on where you live (lots of factories around or something ).

I think it might depend on the area you live where im at there are alot of plants,factories and such.I wouldnt trust it where im at.But if you in a place with less polloutants Id say sure.

i live in the boondocks...there isn't much of anything for 40 miles...i think ill try it next week...i use h2o2 so i don't see why i shouldn't try it....

i use half a 5 gallon bucket of rainwater and half tap let it sit overnight.. add some superthrive and h202 and theyre loving it.
