I throw a few peels in a couple of the jars....it'll smell like oranges when you open the jar but when you take the buds out, the smell doesn't really stay with it....I usually throw very thin apple slices in the jars with bud that's dried out more than I wanted....the apples have a little more moisture and the smell sticks around a little longer

I prefer the taste of pure herb, so to me its not worth the mold risk. But if you are going to try it, i heard that lime works too.

I have to agree with StickyIcky here..

I too prefer the natural taste of bud. Going about trying to add flavor to the buds, isn't worth the time or effort. You risk ruining the buds.. that you worked so long and hard to grow in the first place.. so.. IMO.. your better off leaving the buds alone man.

But, no matter how many times I tell you, that your better off leaving the bud alone.. your going to do whatever it is your wanting to do.

All I can say is good luck to ya.

Look for my thread about adding flavor/taste to your buds.. its a good thread and a very good read.

peace..

It will mold quick, I wouldn't have it in there longer than a day if you do. Plus, it'll effect the smell. I personally prefer the pure taste of the plant.

Yeah, the orange peel method IMHO is only useful for re-hydrating dry schwag and even then you can't have it in there for longer than a day or two or it will mold and quick. If it's fresh good buds I would say don't ruin it, keep it pure.

I was wondering about curing recently cut buds in a container with DRIED apple slices, to take in the extra moisture as they cure and maybe add flavor. Anyone tried this?
