Is one enough?

I was hoping to set up a grow closet for my mothers with all reflective on the inside, probably diamond foil or I'll just use the left over panda paper, but with one 2 or 4ft T5 florescent light about a foot above the plants. Plus a little fan to keep the air moving about in there.

Any ideas on if this will be enough to support 2 or 3 medium size (no more than 3ft tall off the soil) mother plants?

u need an avg. of 100watt for a plant and additional 50 watts per plant after....and clones and cuttings you need avg. of 50watts

I wouldn't take clones all the time and most likely no more then 3 or 4 at a time, depending on how many mother plants I have, and would be taking those clones roughly every 3 months or so. And would possibly be lightly feeding as well.
Would be no more than 3 or 4 mothers under the T5 too.

That plant looks fabulous by the way, especially for being under just one 26 watt CFL

The t5 would be plenty. Every 3 months isn't much, I would keep 1 mother Or just veg in that space and take clones when moved into flower.... Then veg those 2 months clone and move into flower

...here are a couple shots of my first motherbox that holds 21 mothers potted into cut down 2liter Coke bottle 'pots', ...the light is a 4 bulb 2ft T5HO that uses 24watt bulbs for a total of 96watts and i get WAY more growth than i can use, i must regularly give the mothers haircuts or they quickly overgrow my little box even though i generally only use 2 bulbs.

...and this is the flower op that that motherbox supported.

...as you learn to grow there will be many voices telling you what you can't do, sometimes they will be right and sometimes not, sometimes the only way to know is to just try it and see, ...for example, here is a mother from my grobro that has been in that same 9oz cup of coco since the day i gave it to him almost 2 years ago, as you can see she is jam packed with cut's that can be taken even though she is maybe only 6inchs tall.

good luck and have fun, it's supposed to be fun.

peace, bozo
