Is my ZZ skittles ready? Need advice

It's an autoflower that's supposed to have an max life span of about 75 days total
Nearing 90 now so yeah i guessed it would be time, since she seems to be getting sloppy and wilted, doesnt want nutes anymore and barely uses water. I'll wait on the cut tomorrow and provide more pics, i just don't want her to go past the Point where the thc starts degrading into cbn

That “max” life span is a loose suggestion based on someone else’s grow room and plants. Your plants in your room will be different. Breeder time frames are loose suggestions not magical laws that the plants like to follow.

Also I call extra bullshit on almost any plant description that states a seed to harvest time frame vs a flowering time frame. Your plant likely needs 75ish days of actual flowering time.

The fact that your plant is using less water and has stopped most of its outward growth is a good sign. That means it’s at the end of the flowering stage and is starting to ripen. It generally takes 2-3 weeks for plants to swell and ripen. During that time the plant continues to put on weight by increasing in bud density. It also improves in resin quantity and terpene profile during this stage. So chopping early will decrease all those things.

You WILL NOT over ripen your plant and degrade the THC!!!! It takes weeks of ignoring a plant for that to happen. In fact I have never seen someone over ripen a plant on accident.

Why do I feel like we’re always talking people down off a cliff? Maybe we should just let them jump. Then blame genetics when the weed sucks.

Yeah it amazes me how few new growers around here don’t seem to actually research through the site and learn from others threads.

On the flip side I still remember what it was like to be new and how much I needed to learn to get started and continue to learn. I’ve been thankful for the people who have helped me along the way so I keep trying to help others the same way.

Okay got and update, she's been yellowing a lot recently (the past few days) and she doesnt want any nutes anymore. So i'm just feeding normal water
I think she might be entering her last week from what i can tell. The smell has gone away a lot though. When you are next to her you can smell her but not from across the room, although sometimes you can.
Maybe because she's getting less sun
What are your thoughts?

They should be fine. They have the holes in the sides, I would make sure there is some air flow in the room itself, and probably gently agitate the buds at least once a day so they don't get wet spots or stick together too much.

I plan on hanging them from strings, so it doesnt matter that they are on the small side?
If the humidity goes up to high though i will vent the boxes

Got the boxes done
About to take the scissor to it.

They don't need lots of space around them as long as there is some air exchange. Maybe an oscillating fan in the room moving the air around the boxes so they don't get moldy during the beginning few days

Allright
Finishen her hehe
Didn't weigh the buds since it's still wet ofc
Looks like a decent small harvest, now i just need to be able to dry them without getting moldy
