topping is not really needed in the sea of green method, or if you flowere before 12 inches. Topping is best used when you plan to grow large plants in 5 gal pails or bigger. the effect is to produce 2 or more cola buds instead of one, and also to keep the plant shorter.
Be advised. It has been my expierence that a single large cola will produce more than two smaller ones. Also the bushier the plant gets, the more light you need to finish it.

so are my plants to bushy do you think so ihave to take fan leafs off now i was going to leave them to drop off but i read apost on here say it not good to take fan leafs off becouse thats what the bud gets power from if u know what i mean and so ineed mroe light do you think? thx for reply brv

well is not that bad to have a bushy plant in your kinda setup its all on personal choice man,, its just a plant lol..
BUt hmmm take some pics and i will know for sure.
Maybe you can lollipop them perhaps?

You have more then enough light in your setup so you good on that.
But lollipop is when start to flower about 2 3 weeks in you cut a whole 1/3 from the bottom up off the plant so that you dont really get little buds all over but just fat ass colas on top.
But yo man this your first grow so just let them keep flowerin dawg youll see them fatten to what your lookin for soon.
You may want to invest in some better seeds maybe though,,
unless you already have?
