Is my plant root bound? Should I transplant?

Hello :)

First time grower here currently growing an auto that's one week away from harvest and a photoperiod that's been vegging in the same tent the whole time (12 weeks)

The reg plant is in a 3 gallon plastic pot. It has had roots showing through the bottom slightly pretty much since week 3/4.

I was planning on flipping it once if cut down the auto but I'm wondering, seeing as how she has been in this pot for nearly 3 months, if she might be root bound and if I should transplant her and give her a couple weeks before I flower? And should I be okay to finish her in the same pot?

I haven't noticed any major signs other than I'm watering 3litres every other day instead of every 3 days and there are more roots coming through the bottom now.

Well I've been vegging this long because the auto I'm growing is in the same tent. The soil pH was out of wack for a while for about a month in the middle that I didn't catch because it was still looking nice and green and only noticed because she stopped growing. She's all fixed now and has been growing well for 3/4 weeks. I'm just wondering if she needs to be transplanted before flower or if I could successfully flower her in this pot?

And it's my first time so I don't imagine my plants will look like other people's who have experience growing really.

Well as I stated before, the plant actually does look great at this point, But I strongly recommend transplanting, I'm not huge on soil but if I were you I'd go at least 5 gal and 7 if possible, it never hurts to have a bigger container. It would really suck if she'll start struggling mid flower.

Likely not root-bound as plant would show signs (wilting, yellowing, as if underwatered.) Watering increase is normal, it means she is healthy! She has outgrown pot, and definitely needs transplant before flowering. A couple weeks before if possible, for time to adjust from any shock. She looks great, good job catching the ph issue! Happy growing:leaf:

Great advice thank you :) I'll grab a 7 litre and give her some space once I've chopped this auto.

I’ve grown 3 times the size plants in 1 gallon pots. It’s not rootbound I will guarantee that.

what you can do is pop it out of the pot and add some soil to actually fill the pot up though
