Is my plant ready??

Hi everyone! First time grower here so please be kind and patient. I have a simple set-up... I grow in my veg garden in my backyard, directly in the ground. The seeds I am using are just some regular old bagseed. However, each plant looks quite different than the next and acts differently too. I have 4 plants and each one is in a different phase of flowering (not sure how that happened). The nutes I've used so far are Miracle Gro All Purpose during veg and Miracle Gro Bloom Booster during the flower phase but as of yesterday I stared using Bud Candy on all of them and Overdrive on the oldest and most mature (see plant 1). The rest get a shot of Big Bud (plants 2-4). The additives I started using are all at half dose right now. I water about every 3 days and feed once a week. Should I increase the intervals of feeding or decrease? What about the nutes?

Here are my plants... Is number 1 ready? I'm not exactly sure what week of flowering it is on but it is somewhere between 6 and 8.

Thank you in advance!

Nope. Not yet. You really have quite a long ways to go. If you're up north, you'll finish them indoors, or they wont have time to ripen.

Thanks ProdigalSun! I have no one in my town to discuss this with so I am growing by the seat of my pants and from the info I can find on the interweb. Can you tell me roughly how long plant 1 may have to go? Plus can you tell what type the plants are? Sativa or Indica? The info and pictures I find on the web are kind of confusing. At this point I am ready to say that they are all hybrids but I have NO idea.

Nice plants! Get your self a jewelers loop. So you can take a look at the trichome formations. Ideally you want 90% of the trich heads to be cloudly 10% amber. Good luck and happy harvesting!

About 5-6 weeks I would say at most, Looks like a hybrid to me, about 50/50. What were the busd and the high like? That will tell you a lot.

DANG!! I was hoping sooner but oh well. The wait will be worth it. As for the smoke... it was just some old shwag that I cam across and thought, "HEY, I can do better than this!" I just germ'd some of the seeds and tossed them to the elements. As for the high? Couchlock. I couldn't make out the buds because they were pressed and brown. YUCK!!

Can't advise on nutes.

I just wondered, usually a denser bud is an indica, head high for sat etc..., but your bag was obv degraded. It would probably get you higher if you cut it down now lol, but don't do that. Harvest a gram a month early, andyou have wasted an eighth of what could have been twice as good. Double whammy. If you don't cure, you lose again, theree strikes turns great meds into street regs.

LOL! You are probably right about cutting it down now. But I won't. I can wait. So you'd say 5-6 weeks left? What do you think of plant 3? That one is only 4 weeks in to flower.

I am amazed at the amount to bud sites and how bushy #3 is but then again I am VERY new at this. I figured she has a LONG way to go.

Dude I see you got your plants close to those tomatoes, if you haven't been using BT watch out for worms/caterpillars. Be prepared to fight them.

I've already been dealing with caterpillars. I cured that with a garlic and pepper solution in a spray. If they come back then I will have to use B.t.

Thanks! Do you know if they sell the jewelers loop at Wal-Mart? Or where I could get one?
You should be able to pick one up at you local hydro store. Ebay has some cheap ones too. Just make sure to get the ones with a light. Happy harvesting!
