Is my plant going to die?

yes garden stores are perfect but its best if you go in there and look like you know what your doing otherwise depending on the workers there they might get suspicious of you and what your doing

don't tie it. the tie can cut into and even through the stem as the plant grows.

just prop it. it'll get stronger when it's older.

sorry man, just thought you didnt if you didnt even know what lights to use. . anyways, the problem with the window is that anyone can see it maybe. . and it will only get somewhat direct sunlight a certain time throughout the whole day. . unless you keep moving it from window to window. . and it will definitely not grow like an outdoor plant, they get huge compared to indoor.

It depends, i got my lights at home depot and they work fine. if your growing by sunlight you will get your plants to bud if you change the mixes when its time to bud, though it takes about 6-9 months by sunlight, not a prime choice. If you get a CFL it should last you the whole grow but i'd recommend after a month switch to hps 150w or 250 depending on how small your stash will be. Keep in mind once you start your 12/12 that your plant will continue to grow like 2ft taller before it stops and starts to bud.
