Eh.. i guess you could say that.. female plants with only the y chromosome if left too long after flowering will sometimes create balls as a last ditch effort to continue the species. Its called rodelerization. Some plants just have shaky genetics to begin with resulting in even the smallest bit of stress causing them to go hermie.

Trash it. You either risk one plant being seeded or both plants getting seeded. Choose wisely
